Privacy Policy

The company Groupement des Néphrologues francophones de Belgique ASBL (Lennikse Baan 808 1070 Anderlecht , 0445.142.007 ) (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) presents the following privacy policy.

The company can be contacted by email and by post at the registered office address. The user hereby declares to have read and accepted the following policy when visiting the website https://www.gnfb.be/ .

Protection of personal data

The Company reserves the right to collect and process personal data from its Clients, including name, first name and email. This data collection is carried out in the context of the newsletter campaign clearly specified to the User.

This data collection is not mandatory for the User or for the use of the https://www.gnfb.be/ website.

The Company uses the personal data of its Users for the following purposes:

  • responding to contact forms,
  • managing deletion requests,

The processing of data is necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with the Consumer, for the negotiation of new contracts and for the legitimate interests pursued by the Company. Data is retained for a period of 10 years. Data is processed by the Company and its service providers, acting as subcontractors, such as the Site’s hosting provider.

The Company takes all necessary measures to protect personal data, to preserve its integrity and confidentiality, and to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or communicated to unauthorised third parties.

User rights

In accordance with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy and the processing of personal data, and from 25 May 2018, with European Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, the User has the right to access their data, to request its rectification, deletion or transfer.

The User declares that their data is valid and up to date. The User may also object to the processing of their data. These written requests can be addressed to the Company by email or by post.

Complaints in the event of non-compliance with regulations can be addressed to the Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy (which will become the Data Protection Authority from 25 May 2018) at the following email address [email protected].

The Company uses cookies on the website.

Cookies are files stored on the User’s computer hard drive when browsing the website.
